Berry-Hill Galleries

Gordian represented Berry-Hill Galleries, a world class art gallery as its investment banker in the highly successful restructuring of the company through a plan of reorganization under the protection of Chapter 11. The resolution of the case included the exit of the company from bankruptcy protection on March 2, 2007 pursuant to a plan of reorganization that provides for a 100% recovery for creditors. The plan included exit financing of at least $19.5 million, which was provided by American Capital Strategies Ltd., settlements with certain creditors and the sale of artwork to certain creditors for cash and the waiving of claims.
