Ms. Smith brings deep expertise in turnaround management, finance and consulting. Prior to joining Gordian Group, Ms. Smith was Managing Director in Direct Investing at Plainfield Asset Management and a consultant to luxury retailer J. Mendel. Prior to Plainfield, she was President of Sure Fit,
a home textiles company which was part of the D.E. Shaw Laminar portfolio. At Sure Fit,
Ms. Smith was responsible for executing a turnaround and leading the company
through a successful post-bankruptcy transition.

Over the course of her career in the financial industry, Ms. Smith has served as a Managing Director
at U.S. Bancorp Libra and as a Managing Director in the Leveraged Finance group at UBS Securities. She was also founder and Managing Director of Security Pacific Merchant Bank’s Leveraged Finance Department. Additionally, she served as a Vice President at Citicorp Investment Bank. Ms. Smith
is currently a director of Covanta Holding Corporation, where she sits on both the Audit Committee
and the Nominating and Governance Committee.

Ms. Smith earned a B.A. in Economics from Princeton University.
